Responsibilities:
As the Best Student Counselor in Kochi at Guidance Plus Educational Services, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic, personal, and career development of students aiming to study abroad. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions with students in Kochi to address personal, academic, and career concerns.
Providing specialized guidance on study abroad options, admission processes, and career pathways for students in Ernakulam.
Organizing and facilitating workshops and programs to enhance students’ study abroad preparation and cultural adaptation skills in Kochi.
Collaborating with educators, parents, and other stakeholders in Ernakulam to create a comprehensive support system for students aspiring to study abroad.
Identifying and addressing issues related to student behavior, mental health, and overall well-being in Kochi.
Maintaining accurate and confidential student records, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations for those in Ernakulam.
Staying informed about current trends in education, study abroad opportunities, and counseling to continuously improve the effectiveness of support services.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
Relevant counseling certification and licensing.
Proven experience in student counseling or a related role, preferably with a focus on study abroad opportunities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in the well-being of students aspiring to study abroad.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of students, faculty, and parents.
